2 Q's AC condensate question and steering wheel

Hey, all, just bought our second 2013 LR4.
We couldn't stay away long, missed the other too much. Loire blue over beige. 68k miles.

This one does two things the old one didn't:
The ac condensate seems to be dropping on something hot, so that when you stop you can hear the sound of instantly boiling condensation drops from outside the car.
The steering wheel makes a squeak/ whine from right behind the steering wheel when maneuvering in tight spots. Less concerned about the latter.
Just never read about either of these on this fine board. Thoughts appreciated!

Interestingly enough, I am noticing something very similar with my 2013 - condensate dripping on something which then is causing electrical sounding pops and crackles(possibly same thing you're hearing). Only happens occasionally. No idea what it is, no codes, no other odd behavior. Also, my wheel is doing the exact same thing and has since I've owned it. Would love to hear how to address these.

Probably dropping on the exhaust. Doesn't that condensation exit in the transmission tunnel?

steering noise:
lubricate the clock spring and/or the seal where the steering penetrates the firewall.

I think the AC condensation would be dripping on the exhaust knowing it comes out right above the transmission pan and to both the right and left of the transmission pan are 2 very hot exhaust pipes. That would be my guess but if you think it’s something concerning do so much extra research and investigation.

It's definitely dripping onto something exhaust level hot, it's just impossible to see. Did know if there was a condensate drain for the ac that might be blocked or something since the last 2013 did not do it.
