    Not surprised. Even tho it was a CX5 I bet an MX5 could do it too. Anything hit with that type of force and direct axle to axle contact going 80mph is going to roll. Plus the defenders skinnier wheels and high center of gravity don’t help it once one side is off the ground.

    Agreed, I’ve never been a fan of the 6 speed in these trucks. If Someone ever figures out how to swap the 8 speed in with the 5.0L I’d do that in a heart beat. These trucks would be a bit quicker and a bit more efficient if they had the 8 speed mated to the 5.0L

    Yup, could be a PDTC (permanent diagnostic trouble code). PDTC are often things like evap codes and your evap system sensors haven’t reset yet. it might help if you tell us the code to see if it is a PDTC.

    3500 was the best I was quoted for a remanufactured/new trans with labor and a rear mane seal included. Most places in California will try to charge you 5500-6500 for a rebuild/remanufactured transmission and labor.
