Doors unlock when in park and key is removed. I think the only setting issue is turning the auto-lock on or off. -

wierd leak
I had the same problem with water in the passenger floor pan and it was a blocked sun roof drain. Water does not always appear thru the headliner. Have your drains checked. -

Depends on where you live. At altitude (4200-5000) feet, I run 87 octane with no problems-good power and comparable milage to what others have reported here. My LR dealer told me to run regular since here the higher octane isn't burned anyway. If you are at lower altitude, it may matter... -

Anything behind the vehicle is going to mess with the PDC, bike racks, trailers, etc. I can't imagine the LR bike rack is different, unless it's a carbon "stealth" rack-for which you would need "stealth" bikes. While LR probably charges enough so it should be stealth technology, I doubt they... -
How many of you have a chipped windshield
I don't know. I guess I will try a chip repair service and ask them what they think. I didn't know that you could replace only the outer layer (maybe not?) If it works, I'll save a bundle on replacement of the whole screen. -

Boat towing question
I am pleased with my LR3's towing capability with the V8, but my boat weighs much less than yours at about 3700 lbs. I tow in mountains at altitudes from 4200 to 7500 feet above sea level, on regulatr gas with no problems, and I can maintain freeway speeds on all but the steepest passes. -

Towing and Trailer Safety Chains
I hook mine onto the rear recovery hook ahead of the hitch assembly. That has to be the appropriate place if you don't want to rip something off of your truck. -

2006-2007 just came out, so it will be a while before a new version is released. If you want to update, go with the ione out now. Be warned that the trick fix to enable destination entry on the fly will not work in the update. It's been disabled. -
