    Seat back protector

I have a 3 year old and got seat back covers (come in pairs) and put one on the Discovery and the other on the 328. Tan interiors on both vehicles makes it even worse  I'll take pic later today and post

    Oh no!

I liked the idea of repairing the bike tire and being able to continue the ride until i get back home. I ride on spike rims with tubeless tires: I'll get a separate kit for the Discovery. Plugging the punctured tire is definitely easier and faster than changing the spare. I always carry a...

    Oh no!

Last flat I got repaired they took off the wheel, took the tire of the rim and repaired the hole from the inside with some sort of patch. This was the first time I got a tire repaired with a plug. It was fast and easy. I even went to the hardware store and got me a plug tire repair kit to...

    Loadspace accessories

I've had the rigid mat on for almost two years now and it has saved me several times on trips to the beach (one accident with the plug left open on the cooler :albertein) If and when I will use the third row I just leave it at home. One thing I didn't get and have missed is the floor mat for...

    Oh no!

Had a screw in my left rear tire. Took it to the tire shop and instead of patching it up they inserted a plug. without even removing the wheel. I was in and out in 5 minutes. Do these plugs last?

    Key Fob Not Recognized

The rear view mirror cover on our Discovery 4 flew off when my wife hit a column in a parking garage... Imagine my face when she got home with the cover in hand and said "This thing fell off the Discovery" I just popped it back in place and it has stayed put ever since

    Brake Metrics...

I manually shift our Discovery 4 daily and am also used to engine break from my previous manual transmission vehicles. I do the same on our 8-speed 328i.

2011 TDV6 Discovery 4 in Panama When holding the recirculation button it does hold for longer (not indefinitely) but disengages Auto A/C.

    Auto recirc. Huh?

The fuel door on my Discovery 4 does lock when I lock the doors. The re-circulation setting disengages automatically after a while with the A7C on auto mode.

Brake Pads replacement at 10K miles

I'll hold off on replacing the pads until sensors go off. I think I'll let them do the job and provide the parts.

Brake Pads replacement at 10K miles

I used to do all maintenance and then some other work (clutch, carb, valves and even an engine rebuild) on my cars (mostly Toyota Land Cruisers) when I was younger :hmpf: I own a 2011 TDV6 Discovery 4 HSE with 18" rims. Do you have any idea of where I could find the pads I'd need? The brake...

Brake Pads replacement at 10K miles

I sent the Discovery 4 in for service (18 months/12K miles) and I got a quote to replace the pads, which according to the service manager, required replacement. The sensors haven't shown up indicating excessive wear yet. HAve any of you changed pads before sensors indicated the need? The...

    PlastiDipped Wheels!

I only like the grey handles on the Orkney grey body color (mine :proud:). But black handle to match your grill and wheels would look awesome

    Johnson Rods

WOW! That is amazing. Congratulations on an incredible design. Do you have a range of lift variation? I mean how short/long can the rod be adjusted?

    Johnson Rods

Hi Jim, For me it is the possibility of mounting a set of 32" All Terrain tires (BF Goodrich AT 275/65): Plus I like the everyday ride a little bit higher than original standard height. When setting suspension to off road height it ends up even higher. The draw back is original low...

    Johnson Rods

Do you have any pics of what your adjustable rods looks like? I'm imagining a threaded connecting rod with double nuts to lock in place  Also, would they be marked to indicate the lift at any given length?
