When I asked my dealer about it the tech said that there are two sensors that contriubute to the reading, one on each side of the tank. To help it out, they said to not let the tank go less than 1/3 full. something about the two sides on the tank getting significantly different readings messes... -

Yea, its definitely out of warranty. If its something I could do myself, I would like to spend the time to learn how to do it. yea, that may be the case. however all the terrain response works fine...maybe i just figure out the plug. good to know yours wasnt an issue thought, i look a bit more closely next time im in there. -
Door lock problem
i had an old DI and my brother has a DII with the same issue on many of the doors. The actuators dont push back far enough to truly unlock the door. I never really came up with a good solution though, you could stick the key in to get them to unlock far enough. but yea, still a pain....any good... -

yea, im just trying to avoid any alert bs on the dash. thinking about pulling the fuses, but one is linked to radio freq receiver (assuming that helps the radio work, kinda important) and the other parking distance control (could care less). -

dock with aux Ive been thinking about making a dock just left of the volume knob, out of the plastic/wood panel. Also throw a relocated aux input somewhere in there. I think that would be the most future proof convenient option. anyone done anything along these lines? -

Well i think you guys have convinced me to go with the spray paint. Im intrigued by the white though. I was thinking about that as an option as it seems everyone goes black. Ive got the 5 spoke oem wheels for a white LR3. wonder what it would look like on those. kinda like it on your wifes disco. -

Interested in peoples thoughts on powder coating wheels matte black vs spray painting them. Any thoughts? Spray painting is obviously cheaper, but maybe some tips on making them look nice.
