I'd guess 200k miles would be my limit for the rubber lines and lifetime for the steel lines. But I don't live in areas that salt the roads, ymmv. At 115k mi now and they are fine. ah, I do have the LED lol. The arrow lights up as the busy indicator. With the LED off in off-road mode, foot on brake and then pressing UP on the air suspension switch for 3+ seconds nothing happens at all. I waited until the compressor turned off since I didn't find a LED. There is the light on the suspension mode switch that indicates position and an icon on the dash that shows what mode is all I found. I'm realizing now I didn't look at the 4x4 info screen though. If it was completely empty, air could have entered the lines and that is a dangerous situation. If there was just a tiny bit left then you should be good to just refill. Otherwise, the brake system will need to be bled of air before driving it.- powershift

If you can't check the fluid then its better to tow it. The plastic latches on my brake fluid cover was cracked like someone tweaked it removing it. There are tabs to lock the lid down, try a standard screw driver it shouldn't be heavy. Only one latch on mine works.- powershift

That would be sweet, but on mine I tried those steps and there wasn't any response after pressing the brake pedal and UP on the suspension switch for 3 seconds while in off-road mode. Should those steps work on all LR4 years?- powershift

Drastically different. Looking up part numbers for the transfer case might indicate if the t-cases are different. Not sure why they changed it. That is trick. Not sure if I would trust it though. I like the old school way where you burp it. I'm curious, if that tool is shows there is a leak because it can't hold pressure, doesn't that mean you are adding air into the coolant system?- powershift

The owners manual doesn't say how to make a smooth shift when at speed from 4H to 4L. But this morning I tried shifting from 4H to 4L at 15-20 MPH and this time brought the RPM's up to ~2,200 after engaging 4L, then while maintaining that RPM shifted from N to D and it was smooth.
