    CB Radio installs

Hey All... I searched and only found one thread regarding CB's. Anybody have any recommendations? I realize HAM is the way to go, but most of the folks I wheel with have traditional radios. TIA.

TRIP REPORT: Got the LR3 out today - AWESOME -

Couldn't tell ya. Those guys had some pretty weird lines. With no sliders, I was trying to simply get through without crunching something vital.

TRIP REPORT: Got the LR3 out today - AWESOME -

Hey all... While I have been on some rather simple trails, they paled in comparison to what I hit today. Narrow, rock strewn, trees down, wash out ruts, the works. It was AWESOME. I was invited to tag along with some of the Jeep & Land Cruiser folks from the ExpoPortal forum to tour some...

SE/HSE, whcih one did you choose/why?

Nothing personal my friend. Was not meant specifically at anyone. Simply my opinion. Each to their own. :hello:

How Would You Rate Your LR3's Finish?

+1 on Zaino. Best polish on the market. Used it for years on my performance cars. Protects the paint really well too.

    Roof rack fairings

+1 This works, as does moving the front bar back a notch on the rails.

SE/HSE, whcih one did you choose/why?

When the time to purchase came up, an HSE and an SEV8 were both available. I chose to buy the SEV8. Reasons: - I liked the 19" wheels, but not the tire choices. - There were only a few option packages that I really wanted (Specific color (black or grey w/ tan) Heavy duty, cold weather, and...

Steering "pull" from road ruts - need feedback

Thanks. Very familiar with Tire Rack. Completely understand what causes it. As I mentioned, I have noticed more lately. Need some feedback from those who had their bushings serviced/replaced. Anything particular to pay attention to?

Steering "pull" from road ruts - need feedback

Hey all...I need some feedback from others. My steering seems to be "catchy" lately. Meaning, ruts, bumps, etc seem to catch the steering and will jerk the wheel. Only at low speed... That said, think I have wear in the bushings, or perhaps the steering tie rods? Just seem to notice this...

    New trailer hitch concept/idea

Planning on building one like the Adventure Trailers Teardrop. There is a guy on Expo Portal that is building his own. Looks like a lot of work, but very worth it.

    New trailer hitch concept/idea

Nah... he owes me. Besides, the cost to have this built is virtually the same for me to go buy one of LR's receivers. Here's the best part. I retain my ground clearance and departure angles and have a hitch all at the same time. WOOT! Do honestly try and think out of the box, eh?
