Rasta
Dorel,
Glad to hear about your support...I'm having the sill guards, rear tire carrier and complete under armor (minus the front bumper guard) installed this weekend. I'll post some photos.

Spare...
I agree about not caring if the spare matches...I actually have 1 spare that matches that will be on the rear tire carrier that I'm installing this weekend. I wanted to get an inexpensive spare (hence the steel/aluminum alloy spare search) to replace the spare below.
I'm not so...
Does anyone know where I can find a spare 18" wheel for my spare under the truck? I would prefer the plain wheel (steel or aluminum, preferably steel but don't think it exists). I can order from LR but it's not cheap.

18"s...
I know you said stock size but I could not be happier with my BFG AT KO 265/65/18. They look great, they ride great and would not ever go back to stock size.
-Josh
As you all know from my frequent posts, I just put 18" wheels and new tires on my LR3...I have the factory 19" wheels that I no longer want. Does anyone want these?
-Josh
I think I'm going to install the spare tire carrier on the rear bumper...this is the one by Rasta 4x4 that is sold by British Pacific. Anyone have any thoughts on this? I have not seen a competing product so I imagine this is the only choice.
I am also considering the Rasta 4x4...
Anyone have any opinions on underbody armour/protection? I'm looking to get the Rasta 4x4 set but don't know if I should look at other brands also.
-Josh
Thanks for the comments! I'm very, very pleased. It rides so much better also. I have not noticed any rubbing as of yet. I have not had the chance to have a trial with full articulation yet but based on how it looks and prior comments on here, I don't foresee a problem.
I really recommend...
I will definitely send some day pics...hopefully this weekend. Almost everyone voted for the other wheels (including myself at first); however, I bought these Range Rover wheels from my dealer for $500, as opposed to over $2400 for the LR3 V6 wheels. I couldn't justify spending that much on...
I am looking to get a new phone...I use Verizon and like them.
I'm thinking of the Palm Treo 755p, which is not recommended based on the LR bulletin I downloaded. I wanted to ask if anyone on here has used one of the Palm Treo's with any success?
-Josh
I ordered 265/65/R18s that I'm having installed tomorrow...that photo is making me think twice about my decision. I've heard great things about the BFG AT K/O though so I'm still excited.

I have the LR seatcovers for the front seats of my LR3. My LR3 is black with black interior so I got the green (either green or khaki) seat covers. They were a bit pricy but I like them a lot. The headrests do not fit due to the DVD players in the rear of the head rest but I don't care - I...
I have an 08 LR3 with the factory roof rack. I would like to install 4 Hella HID lights and eventually a spare tire holder up top. Can anyone advise me of how to do this? It seems that I will have to fabricate everything to make it work.
Is this correct?
-Josh
I have seen the swing away spare tire carrier for the LR3 on British Pacific. Has anyone bought this and installed or had it installed? I'm looking to do this but wanted to ask around a bit first. I worry a bit about uneven weight balance? Any thoughts?
-Josh
Thanks for all of your thoughts...
Thanks for everyone's input. I got the 18" wheels on Saturday and ordered the BFG 265/65/R18 A/T KO's today. They were on backorder so I hope to get them within a week. I'll take photos and show ya'll when they are ready.

Tpms
Let me ask an ignorant question...do I have the TPMS? I just bought a 2008 LR3 HSE but don't recall hearing anything about this. I'm also about to change to 18" wheels with new tires. What do I need to know?
-Josh
Those look amazing! I'm getting 18" wheels for my LR3 this weekend and then hope to get tires within the week. I'm pretty sure I'm doing the same (BFG 265/65/18).
Send some photos with everything on if you don't mind.
Looks great!
-Josh
Sorry to keep bugging everyone about my tire dilemma but this is the final question. What is the consensus between a 265/65/18 versus 285/60/18? I'm interested in anyone's experience, especially with regard to rubbing with turning and articulation.
I'll probably do the BFG if I do the 265...
