Normal Height
I had a bad switch--fixed under warranty. Check your 4hi/lo switch too--both of mine could be pushed up but not down.- manbehindbeard

I put a steel wool ball on the end of my drill and scratched them up, then used a 300 count sandpaper. I also used some prep wipes and the dupli color primer.- manbehindbeard

I used duplicolor semi gloss black. It's held up great so far, but I still haven't had the time to get it off road. Like all the posts I read, the better you prep, the better the finished product.- manbehindbeard

Hahaha...no rods. Not yet at least :) I really like the ride height right now. I have only heard rubbing once. Knock on wood. Haven't been able to take it off road since the new tires. We'll see how it goes. Going camping this weekend but it's only maintained trails so I still won't know...- manbehindbeard

Went with duplicolor semi gloss black. Been on for 2 weeks and finally have time to get to doing touch-ups. Looks great so far...tons of compliments and nobody thinks I did it myself until I tell them.- manbehindbeard

Put on BFG A/T 275/65/18's 2 weekends and ago and sprayed the wheels myself. Paint instructions say to wait a week before touch up coats, but I was out of town last weekend...so I'm waiting for it to dry right now. I left the wheels on this time to experiment doing touch ups after they...- manbehindbeard

No full size spare. I don't have a swing away spare set up...and I also don't have the extra money to have one made even though I'd love it. Ryan, Do you run the rod mod all the time? I'm thinking I want to go with BFG's but didn't know how bad the rubbing would be without the mod. I'm looking for something that's going to fill the wheel well really nicely at the stock height. Thanks for the help! -Ryan- manbehindbeard

These: If you run a quick search on the forum you'll see how easy they are to build. Took me about an hour plus the Home Depot run. They fit pretty tight. Take a little finessing to get them to cover all the gaps. I brought a roll of painter's tape for the interior just in case :biggrin:- manbehindbeard

Yeah I was able to close the back. I slid my driver's seat up and tilted it forward a little so my feet didn't hit it, but other than that I was surprisingly comfortable.
