I have an 05 LR3 that won't let me lower the suspension manually. I can raise the vehicle fine, but when I try to lower it nothing happens. The lights on the control won't light up when i pull the the suspension control to lower the vehicle. However, when the suspension is raised, it will lower to normal height automatically when I drive down the road.

You may luck out and only have a bad console switch. These tend to go out because everyone spills coffee and other drinks around this area. If not, follow the usual trail of faulty compressor threads or air valve block threads. Give it a day or so and I'm sure bbyer will chime in with an array of technical pdf's you can follow. Check any related fuses as well. Good luck.

I had a bad switch--fixed under warranty. Check your 4hi/lo switch too--both of mine could be pushed up but not down.

I checked all the fuses, and they are fine. I just replaced the suspenion compressor a few days ago, I was receiving "suspenison fault normal height only" but that should have anything to do with this problem. I'm hoping the fact that the vehicle lowers automatically still means that it's not to be too major to fix...

I checked all the fuses, and they are all fine. I was receiving a "suspension fault normal height only" massage, so i replaced the suspension compressor last week. I don't think that should have anything to do this this issue. Since the vehicle still lowers itself automatically, I'm hoping it's not that major of a problem fix, once I know what it is I need to do...

I had the suspension fault normal height mode pop up after I rotated the tires?? It now pops up after 30 seconds of powering up unless I raise it to off-road then back down to normal it will stay off until i restart it. Maybe a height sensor that went out??

I broke down and took my vehicle in to the dealership yesterday. The console control switch is bad. The dealership quoted me 400 for part and labor. That seems a little high to me, they told me it only takes about 10-15 min to change the switch. I've tried looking for the part myself, but haven't had any luck. If anyones knows of a place where I can buy a control switch let me know.

The dealer may be the only place to to pick up the switch from. Call multiple Dealers and have them quote you a price since you already have the required part number. You'll be surprised how much the price varies from Dealer to Dealer. 10-15 minutes for them means 2-3hrs for us. The console sections have to be removed in particular order to access the next group of fasteners. Your call. The switch itself is pretty much plug-and-play. It's just a matter of gaining access.
