Opinions on LR3 Wheel Alignment frequency

Have yet to do an alignment on MY07 but i am just now replacing my GY with some Zeons. I run perelli ice and snow for 4 months every year. Rotate tires with seasons since I do 10k a year. I also run the stock pressures only because I haven't seen any unusual wear.

    radio/nav fail

My aux input does the same. I thought it was the iPod or interface module but who knows. Once the car and iPod warm up I have to restart the car and it works fine. ??? My nav will flash navigation not available on the cold mornings as well but goes away quickly.

Is it possible to remove the middle seat

Maybe there is a way to rig a Cupholder console to the latch bar on the back of the seat so when you fold it down there it is.

What's the worst that can happen?

Houm, what mt/r are you running? I was looking at coopers but I am in the PNW as well and want a good on/off road tire. I don't want to change tires for long trips to Seattle.

Swing away rear tire carrier feeler

Sounds Great! Better than digging a spare off of the ground or trying and lifting 60+ pounds onto the roof. I just got a quote from Rasta and they want 1040$ shipped to my door.

    Seat

I had that too. It was a stuck contact on the seat adjustment switch. I cycled it a few times and it went away. You can pull fuses to help pinpoint it.

    Newbie considering a LR3...any advice?

Both front and year heated seats are nice and toasty. We get down to zero F and they are nice even for the mother in law. She is picky and loves it.

    Metal Valve Caps

Always thought they meant nitrogen was used to fill the tire. Thought Costco started it. I have no basis for this.

Repair manual Alldatadiy.com has the lr3 repair info. I have used it for oil changes and finding the wire to make my driving lights come on with the brights. You can print the pages as u need them.

I have had the same tires and stems for 3.5yrs through snow and rain and ice with no problems. I bet they lost them and fabricated a nice story.

    K&N Air Filter

I did not notice a difference but with replacement costs it should pay for it self espicially if you are doing more off road and getting dirty.

If you are talking about the top cover Mine is a 6mm. A swivel on a socket wrench is your best friend as the firewall gets in the way on the back ones. Also remove the oil fill cap. hope this helps

I have pirelli ice and snow for 19" and I run circles around other cars in the snow and ice. They have a deep tread that releases the snow pack. We have a lot of freezing rain in E Wa. Best tire advice for LR3 BC Canada

I run pirelli snow and ice in eastern Washington during the winter and the are awesome. Climb hills that outbacks cannot handle. A little squishy for handling but nice deep self cleaning tread.

    Question for '07 Owners

LR3 Good Buy I am on my second LR3. 05 SE and an 07HSE and have loved them both. The dealers have all been willing to replace or repair even the smallest of issues despite the long lead time for parts. Never been stranded.

    Question for '07 Owners

Hitch You can remove the plastic handle with a center punch and bypass the key to get it off the truck. then grind down the plastic pin so you won't need the key anymore.
