Currently have Kumho Road Venture APT 255/60/R18 112V tires on my 2006 V8 LR3 SE. They ride very well on the interstate. Last Year I got over two feet of snow where I live. I want to get the most effective tires for the snow/ice as possible. I am considering getting new rims and tires so I can just switch them out when the poor weather arrives. I measured my rims with a tape measure and they are the 19" rims. Dont know what my options are when it comes to a great winter tire. Any thoughts would be much appreciated. I have searched the threads, and I am still wanting to know the best direction to go in... Please help! I am interested in something thats looks mean!! :bandit:

I have pirelli ice and snow for 19" and I run circles around other cars in the snow and ice. They have a deep tread that releases the snow pack. We have a lot of freezing rain in E Wa. Also strong climber. I am buying 18" for offroading. If you r interested in a second set of wheels 19" 5 spoke let me know.

If you are running 255/60/R18's then you have 18 inch rims. Either way you'll probably want 18's as the second set to have the most available options for tires.
