Help on removing the hitch receiver from truck
that worked - needed lubricant I sprayed a wd-40 type of lubricant in the keyhole. Inserted key, worked first time. Wow. Thanks -- shocked something that simple worked. -

I can't for the life of me get the hitch receiver REMOVED from my truck. I have the key, and the receiver is locked onto the truck. But I cant get the key into the lock. Just wont go in. Also -- when its locked on the truck, is the red bar supposed to be showing ? Or just the green handle... -

sunroof rattling
Mine Too Definitely has something to do with the cold weather (its in the 20's in Nashville now). Mine rattles right above drivers side head... if I push up on it, it stops. Its not the sunroof shade either... ideas? -

Heated Seat Issue
Heated Seat Pretty common issue as miles accumulate/seat time increases... My experience w/ heated seats in Rovers and other makes (audis, saabs from the 80's on) is that sometimes it can be switches/ relays/connectors... but most likely, its probably a break in the wire in the seat somewhere... -

Recovery points on LR3 I dont know about that -- the huge loop by the towing hitch on an LR3 is a recovery point... not just a lashing spot. And the one on the front is on the frame of the truck too... I cant imagine anything stronger. -

Mileage No matter how hard I try around town / in Nashville, my 2005 HSE is always about 11.9 mpg. On the highway I can get 14 if I'm driving fast (80 or 90 or so) and have averaged a high of about 17 or 16.5 when setting cruise at 70 and not touching it. I just replaced my air filter... -

Just saw this post - color of black plastics on LR3 By the way, I don't think you noticed fade... the mudflaps are _black_ plastic. The stock wheel arches and other slightly textured trims on the LR3 are not black, they are slightly greyish (from new)... the color is anthracite black or... -

Yep Im sure it stays in access height And I'm not locking it there... just one down command on the suspension lever. It def lowers too, I can feel it lower quickly ... and then it gets a little "bouncier" when its low. Cant be good for it, but I'm still a little surprised it allows me to do... -

Is an alignment necessary with new tires?
Alignment There _is_ some setting that rover dealers use when they do an alignment (or at least LR Nashville does and LR Huntsville does) -- its called "high tolerance mode" or "tight tolerance mode. Its not a setting with the alignment machine, its a setting that they do to the car's air... -
