Was driving my truck today on the highway (2005 HSE w/ 34k miles that I bought in June from a rover dealer)... and I heard a scraping/squeaking noise... it was pretty loud against the wall on the side of the highway. Pulled off, sure enough, noise seemed like coming from right rear wheel... -

Headlining color differences

Remove Paint on Door Handle?
door handle I know this isnt the answer you want but the black (unpainted) LR3 exterior door handles are pretty cheap. Just buy a new one if its really buggin you.. -

subwoofer w/ HSE logic 7 stereo ?
Minor question here -- so my 2005 HSE (with the logic 7 stereo system with all the extra speakers) sounds great. But I do not think the subwoofer works. No change to sound / bass if I turn up / down the subwoofer setting on the head unit. So I'm thinking something is amiss. Anyone else... -

Well... my 05 HSE got rained on for the first time since i've owned the truck (2 months now). And when I started off today, water came pouring out one of the rear sunroofs on passenger side AND down the pass side a pillar, and the light switches up front by the mirror. Grr... I've read... -

Stalling?
not 100% sure about this but sounds like a crank position sensor I've had this happen on my old 2003 Disco 2 (4.6 v8)... and on an older Saab 9000. Random stalling with tach dropping to 0. In both cases it was the crank position sensor (or the wheel that triggers it). Not quite exactly... -

Tube Brush bar. Winch/NonWinch
Winch I asked this too -- and read it elsewhere. The LR winch / winch pieces actually don't mount to the wraparound bar at all -- it has some other mounting bits that connect directly to the frame of the truck. -

yep thats the only difference I looked into this before I bought my "non winch" version. That's the only difference -- that one bar along the bottom. Welds looked the same as did tube diameters of all the tubes too. Mounts up exactly the same too. -

The "spacer"... explained These mounts are different than the ones for those soft A frame bars btw. Actually the spacer goes over the bolt (it has a hole down the middle) and through the hole drilled in the bumper cover... so that basically then as you tighten the bolt brings in the nudge... -

rear tires wearing on insides
pirelli scorpion something or others Actually they are pirelli scorpion 2 something or others... on the stock 19" HSE rims. I had these same times (in 18") on my old 2003 Disco 2... they seemed fine there. Not great offroad but semi ok for the small about of wheeling I do. -

Water dripping just behind LR wheel
I'm pretty sure this is normal -- but what is it ? (I'm in Nashville so its pretty hot -- upper 90's now -- truck is a 2005 HSE) I'm guessing either the rear AC drains there OR its water drain from the air compressor from the humid air. So what's the deal with the water dripping? And... -

weird thing with side mirrors / reversing - TSB memory seats?
I noticed on my new to me 05 HSE that the mirrors that dip in reverse are sometimes remaining in the dipped position when i'm driving, or out of position and go to some other random position. I can of course adjust but its annoying to do that after every time you back up or put the truck in... -
