Replacement for cracked front undercarriage guard

I have to agree on the BP skid plates, they work great and take a lot of pounding. Well worth the price of admission :-) Cheers John in Ohio

Hi Josh, I have the GY Silent Armor tires and I'm extremely satisfied with them..VERY quiet on road, great on mud/snow/rocks, very good on ice ,highly resistant to hydroplaning , robust construction and wear like iron :) also rated highly at Tire Rack...

Altimeter Maxes out at 9990 ft.? Really?

That is as high as it goes. I've been at 9990 all the way past 14K ....... seems strange indeed. I don't know if that can be fixed with a software upgrade or not, but it would be nice. Cheers John

    YATT (Yet Another Tire Thread)

The dia of the 285's is about 1.5 in more than stock so you might have rubbing issues at times., also I don't think they will fit in the spare tire well without airing them down. I can highly recommend the Goodyear's for overall performance on and off road. HTH Cheers John in Hubbard, Ohio

Any reason why Diesel engines are not available here...

Like grommet said it's a matter of getting 50 state compliance. CA and NY are the biggest problem for companies such as Land Rover whose largest percentage of sales come from these states. With the increased availability of low sulfur fuel it will be easier to comply, and testing is underway...

    YATT (Yet Another Tire Thread)

I'll second the recommendation for the silent armor 265/60 18 tires... I have over 10k on mine with no sign of wear and, on the trails at the LRNR, they handled superbly and were very, very quiet on the 3150mi round trip. I doubt that there are any better on/off road tires out there....however...

    Goodyear Silent Armour

dantheman1....the only problem you could have is rubbing in that size @ 32.1in it will be very close. I have the 265 60 18 and the are just fine at 30.5. great tires IMHO . General also has a new tire called the AT Grabber that is an exact replacement for the stock tires HTH John

    Brush Gaurds

Ditto.......that chrome/ ss is hideous and you can color code the ARB or leave it black powder finish. John
