Hey there,

Thinking about getting a brush bar, and not sure which one to get. My car is the Adriatic Blue, so not sure how the stock black bar would look.

Here are the two options I'm considering.
1) The LR black A-Bar
2) After-market Stainless Bar
3) Bite the bullet and get an ARB

Here are some pictures.

What do you do with your LR3? If you seldom off road it, or off road in an area where there are few rocks or approach angles aren't a big deal, the ARB is probably way overkill. The metal brush bar is only held on by a few little bolts and is no way a structural item. I would avoid it personally. I think the plastic A-frame bar is a decent option if you are wanting a winch, lights, etc... but seldom do any real off roading. Just research your prices before you buy it. In my neighborhood there are three dealers, with three significantly different prices for the same items. I always chose the one that charges MSRP, and sometimes (depending on the item) have the other dealers (or an independent shop) do the install. They way overcharge for parts, but are cheaper in labor. It's a big shell game.

Just one final bit of advice, avoid the LR Genuine driving lamps, they are 55w weaklings, noticeably LESS bright than your current headlamps!

Here is what the LR brush bar looks like on my Birmingham Blue. And these guys are right , this bar
is not for pushing logs off the trail. I chose this one because I believed it to look better with the light kit.
Plus it doesn't block out the LR letters on the hood. I was also able to install it myself. Good Luck!

schafari; You know I found myself asking that same question, but there was a method to my spotters madness. You can't tell from the picture but there was a section to my left that was extremely dug out. This shot was taken just before I took a hard left back into the trail. Then shot staight up, no problem.
This was a very fun run at Cleghorn Ridge in SoCal.

Duckdive, are you part of SCLR?

I love Cleghorn. Have you done 2N17X on the otherside of Silverwood lake?
