    I'm glad I got the 2010 model year too. Mine seems to have all the goodies and it was cheaper too. I am not even sure if the new ones come with the iPod intigration cable. I hear they cost $75 at the dealer. I may throw mine up on the classifieds as I know I will never use it. Rob

    Choking on brake dust!

    I think new pads are all that are needed. Lexus released a TSB for pads on my wife's Lexus because people thought there was too much brake dust. They were replaced under warranty. I'm not looking for LR to replace them. I just want other options. rob

    Connecting a USB device

    Mine got formated like it would be on an ipod, music in seperate folders for each artist, album and title. I think it's a bit hard to navigate like that as you have to drill down in each folder to find the song you want. Did you save your files in WAV by chance?

    Mine works, I use it all of the time. I only have music track on it in MP3 format and there is no other data on the drive. What else do you have on the drive?

    Plus size tires and ABS

    You shouldn't have any problems from the ABS system with larger tires. You may have marginally longer stopping distances because of the weight/height of the new wheel and tires, but it should feel the same during all stops.

    Thanks for the tip on the aftermarket manufacturer. I went and looked at thier online catalog, but the LR4 has a totally different brake system. I don't think the aftermarket has caught up yet. I have over 5k miles on my LR4, and not a peep out of the brakes. Rob
