LR3 HSE with 20" Sport Rims

Nice! - I have the Toyo STII tires on my LR3 - best SUV tire I've ever used for on-road use. Are the wheels OEM or 3rd party?

    vibration

Flat spot is possible - but it would go away when the tire gets up to normal temperature. More likely you have low pressure in one or more tires - easy to check and fix Or you have some tire wear since the last balancing - and this needs to be done again. I'd check the pressures first - do it...

    Every Possible Fault...I'm getting initiated

LR3 shuts down 'non essential' items when power is low - sounds like a power issue Could be battery, alternator - or possibly a bad ground connection. You have a multimeter to check some voltages?

You thinking it's low volts and a dying battery throwing the fault?

Can NAV ping you for speed cameras?

They are driving slowly because of the *@*#! mobile speed camera units, which pop up randomly on any road, and send you a warning if your 7 mph over the limit, and a ticket if you're 12 mph over.... It's big brother gone mad!

Can NAV ping you for speed cameras?

I have the speed cameras for US and UK loaded into my NUVI, so I get a visual and audio warning when approaching any speed or red light camera location. Was easy to do - just downloaded some custom POI files from the InterWeb and loaded into the NUVI with a free loader that Garmin provide...

    Palm Springs Trails?

Although it's on-road - take the Pines to Palms highway (State Route 74) out of Palm Dessert as it climbs out of the valley - amazing road, fantastic vista from the top.

    2007 LR3 Tail Light-Brake Light Bulb Replacement

It pulls out as a module - straight backwards - give it a side to side wobble, and make sure the flange, where the 2 screws were, has cleared the rubber seal around the tailgate. I does come out in the end!

    Annoying noise from seat

Damn, I open this thread thinking I'd find some solution to the annoying noises generated by SWMBO from the passenger seat!

    Shut up Nav chick!

SWMBO calls my sat nav 'NavBitch'! They rarely agree - makes for interesting driving....

    Tail Light Bulb Replacement?

Yes - it's a standard bulb - you can look it up in the manual at the auto parts store to get the right one. I got mine from Pepboys - and had a choice of 'standard' and 'long life' options.

    LR4 real world pics

I like the bear option shown - but expect that they may cause issues when closing the hood or using the wipers!

Brake squeaking after having them replaced...

A lot of brake squeal is in fact the pads resonating in the calipers when in contact with the rotors. If you coat the back of the pads with an anti-seize compound, such as copaslip This prevents the vibration and hence the noise. Easy and cheap fix - been using it for years with...

    Iphone 3G Bluetooth problem

Yep, that's exactly what I have to do - it's just a 'feature' that we have to adapt to as the Land Rover is just grabbing the iPhone BT connection every time.

    Iphone 3G Bluetooth problem

You don't have to turn bluetooth off. You can select the audio source from your iPhone during any phone conversation, so just select iPhone rather than Land Rover, and the audio will be back on your iPhone. It's located where the SPEAKER icon is in this image.

Rear suspension chatter or flap - video

If you can mount the Flip under the vehicle, or in the wheel arch looking at the suspension - you may be able to capture picture and/or sound that more clearly identifies the location for them. This was something I was considering for off-road video shots, as a cut-away from the usual terrain...

Rear suspension chatter or flap - video

Best of luck with the fix - great use of the Flip MinoHD! I've been doing some test work with this tiny HD camcorder, for recording on-car action using a rubber suction cup mount from Delkin. (It's a little more secure than the hockey stick!) Here's a test run on the LR3: LR3 Flip MinoHD...

Solution for low aux input level? (iPod)

Just use the headphone output and adjust the volume at the iPod/iPhone. You get plenty of volume to drive the system this way - and quality is fine. I use my iPhone in this way - and it matches the volume from the CD, no problem.

just purchased my first LR3 2008 SE Dealer Demo

Polish then sealant is a longer lasting, and less labor intensive solution than waxing. Plenty of products out there - I use the Ultima polish and sealant, and love the time saved and great result. Needs doing twice a year, that's all - awesome! Mud doesn't stick as much, so cleaning is...

just purchased my first LR3 2008 SE Dealer Demo

Welcome! Get yourself a porter cable polisher, and some good polish and sealant - that black paint will take a lot of looking after! :hello: Sounds about right price for the miles - expect to swap out the POS GoodYear tires very soon - they are terrible, noisy, worthless...
