So, for the second time LR serviced my car only for me to find out a couple days later that I was spraying oil out the filter. When I'd park it over night I'd get a 1.5 foot pool of oil underneath.

Both times they pleaded the fifth ("we warrantied the filter. Don't know why that happened.")

Either LR makes sh*tty filters, or the dealership is rushing the simplest of jobs with a dirty seal or cross threaded filter. I changed my oil for several years before I got the LR3 and I've never had a filter leak.

Anyone else had this problem?

It is of course a simple thing for the dealer to fix, but it is a pain in the ass to bring it back. (and not easy to fix yourself on a road trip as you'd have to drop your skid plate and deal with a mess of oil)

Human error by the sound of it - I'd be finding another dealership to do the service oil changes
