Yeah, handhelds would probably work if its just the two of us. I'd recommend just biting the bullet and buying a CB if its between the two though, since that is the standard for most clubs, rallys, etc. I think I picked my CB and antenna up for less than $100, and spent a day running cables...- pvangura

I just ran China Wall with the Solihull Society this past Saturday, so it would be nice to do something different. I would be in for any of the trails I posted, however keep in mind that Metberry/Hackett/Longwater are accessed by a 20 mile long Forest Service road, so that trip is much longer...- pvangura

You should have no problem getting the 265/60/18s to fit. I have run the 285/60/18 Nitto Terra Grappler A/Ts on both of my LR3s, and while they are super close to the A-arm and rub just a tiny bit at full lock, I have never had a problem with them. New, with a question
Yeah, it was a strange one. Mine was also an 06, and I have not had the problem with my 07. The hoses are just popped onto a connector end, without anything but the barb of the connector holding them on. I think I used a small zip tie (or maybe a little duct tape??) to fasten it a little better.- pvangura

New, with a question
A second thing to check, as this happened to mine once, would be the hoses that connect to the washers. Somehow I managed to pop them off, and the washer fluid was just spraying out of the hose into my hood liner, and not onto my windshield. -Paul- pvangura

Completely agreed. I have been driving my LR3(s) from Colorado to Pennsylvania and back at least once a year for the last 4 years (with my wife and 2 large dogs, plus luggage for 2 weeks stay). One time, to save miles and fuel, we took my wife's work car, an Audi Q7...I've never taken anything... -
