What did you do with your Lr4 Today?

I did mine earlier this year as mine was starting to fail, shouldn't take very long (other than cleaning up the old water shredder). Follow some of the other tips like tying the actuator's cable connection just in case as that's known to slip. Be careful with the screws that hold the bottom...

    Auto Highbeam Upgrade

Haha, yeah I was thinking the same thing. From what I've found it looks like the sensor is in the rear view mirror (used on for sale from a salvo) but I figure the instrument panel might need to be upgraded to allow for the additional indicators and GAP tool to reprogram ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

What did you do with your Lr4 Today?

Just grabbed our Christmas tree, was the easiest thing ever. I've lived in the city for years (moved to the suburbs 'cause Covid) and it was always an ordeal to get the damn thing to our apartment.

    Auto Highbeam Upgrade

Anyone gone through with incremental upgrades like this? I understand it's included with the LUX package but I got used to the feature when I had a loaner while my truck was in the shop.

Fault Code U0401-64 - Signal Plausibility Failure ECU->TCM

Kindly bumping as any help is appreciated Anyone dealt with their fuel system monitor not kicking in? Further digging into the workshop manual recommends that I look a little more into any codes thrown by the ECU which requires a return to the indy as I don't have gear like that. Thanks

Fault Code U0401-64 - Signal Plausibility Failure ECU->TCM

So after sending my LR4 to the dealer to diagnose the problem I'm having here, They determined after about a week that it was the fuel injectors misfiring/weak spray on one bank (1,3,5,7). In the process of getting a quote, I found an indy who though this was odd, especially since its unusual...

Just bought an LR4. Needs cosmetic attention. Advice?

I recommend getting an equivalent of this kit, it's indispensable when doing interior or general trim work, at least for the tools included https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Q1P2T87/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabt1_ugeRFb8MSQ3FC?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

    Add seat memory?

In wish there was an option for sideview mirror memory, me and my wife have dueling opinions about what is the "Correct" way to set them :bike:

    "Bucking" during acceleration

So dropped it at the dealer to checkout, apparently it's due to misfires (which is also probably preventing my EVAP, EGR, and FUEL readiness). They're having a hard time tracking down the reason as there are no codes thrown. Will give ya an update when I find out but hopefully it should be...

Should I buy this Low Mileage 2012 (70k)? (Pics & Video)

Hey Robert, I recently got a low mileage LR4, mostly cosmetic issues with mine and overall update to worn parts. Did you check the front end in terms of weird noises when the wheel is turned all the way to either side and you drive both forward and in reverse? If you hear clunking, could be...

    "Bucking" during acceleration

Hey mbw, what do you mean by "dripping"? Should I consider that I have leak in the trans fluid lines somewhere? Thanks

    "Bucking" during acceleration

Noticing that the truck feels like it's bucking (or rocking back-and-forth) when I hit the gas to merge at high speed, specifically from a dead stop. It's accentuated when going uphill from the usual spot I use to get on the main highway in my town and eventually evens-out. Not sure if it's...

Thanks, you'd think for a truck of this price the exterior materials would be a bit more durable

    Water in Passenger Footwell

I ended up having a small leak where the A-pillar met the roof, started noticing wet trim then one day soaked passenger floor board. Had to remove the visor, pop the pillar trim and headboard down, then squirt some silicone to seal it up. No issues so far after some heavy downpours.

    Windshield Cowl Grille Replacement

My 2012's was sun-damaged and tried that Forever Black stuff but it ended up washing off in a month. Grabbed the part for about $80 + shipping and found this vid (LR3 apparently has the same part). Right wiper arm was seized to the post but some WD-40 rust release, 10 minute wait and a...

How do you keep your rims clean?

Just got P21s, gonna try that with the wheel wax combo. Saw a video where some dude applied Dupont Teflon to the rims, but you need to remove the wheels before doing. Seems a bit dubious imo and way too much effort.

How do you keep your rims clean?

I've got the standard silver alloy rims and the break dust is evident within a day or so of driving after cleaning. Can be tough to get off. Tried Zep degreaser with some success and elbow grease. Now gave Sonax a shot, seemed to work a bit better but still needs a couple applications. What...

    2012 LR4 H/K subwoofer > No longer working

Hey everyone, Anyone experience this? It was definitely pumping and recently and noticed it's no longer doing so in the past few days. Never heard it blow and suspect it's either the amp, a fuse, or a loose wire. Was reading elsewhere that the amp behind rear quarter panel but not sure which...
