I thought that when you opened the door it ‘woke’ the engine up and activated the fuel pump to make sure there is fuel in the rail ? -

2011 Range Rover Sport a decent buy?

lr4 fan clutch thread direction
I believe it is a reverse thread so you would turn it clockwise facing it on that era of the V8. SC version on rrsc is regular thread. Lisle makes a very good tool that attaches to an air hammer running off a reasonable size air compressor. My 1 gallon wouldn’t work but 30 gallon compressor took... -

Towing a 2 horse trailer with my RR Sport 2012 HSE
It’s good to tow 7700lbs. If you remove the cover in the centre of the bumper it may be fitted out to some degree for towing. Bleeding Dynamic response
There’s a ‘how to’ video on Atlantic British web site. Seems after replacing the ACE filter and obviously losing some fluid in the process it’s supposed to be as simple as topping up the fluid reservoir and letting it run for a minute or two. Waiting for filter to arrive before changing mine.- alldazed

Differential (F&R) and Transfer Case Fluid change OEM equivalent recommendations
Just did mine on a 2011 SC. Easy job. I used new crush washers on the transfer case. Hardest part was getting the skid plate off as the bolts were corroded badly due to the Canadian climate.- alldazed

Air Temperature and Pressure Sensor
The MAP sensor is on top of the supercharger snout and is fairly obvious just below the rubber hose that connects between the intake plenum and the sc bypass valve actuator. The MAPT sensor which I think is the one you are looking for is underneath the back of the supercharger. At a guess I...- alldazed

No not done it yet. Only the water pump so far. I’ve been searching for the removal procedure for the supercharger for the v8 but can’t find info on that. The procedure for the v6 sc was the closest I could find and the engines seem to bear many similarities other than the missing cylinders...- alldazed

hello everyone. i came across this great forum looking for info on how to remove the supercharger from my 2011 range rover sport supercharcharged with 172000 km on it as i suspect i need to change the front coolant crossover pipe. I did the waterpump no problem that was leaking but looks like...- alldazed
