LR3 slight differential noise normal?

LR3 hitch height
I wish I knew that when I purchased. I got a deal on the tow package for buying the car. Paid 230.00 for wiring install with 2 types of plugs (round and flat) plus that lower set receiver with key. I found one with a 2 inch riser that should be ok. I would doubt the dealer woud trade... -

2007 LR3 HSE garage door programming
Thanks for the info, btw mine has green lights not red. But that was not the issue. I think I figured it out. The Garage door uses some new encryption that is not compatible with some cars. My luck the Honda since newer works but the LR3 does not. I have to buy some kind of trans-coder... -

LR3 Tow Safty chains no good place to hook to
Thanks, yes I had to lay on the ground and they are part of the bumper receiver frame on each side. Somehow I missed them. I was at the marina and bought a curt with 2 inch riser. That gives around 16 inches from the ground. Also found a 49 cent plastic screw driver for those panel... -

This is strange. I've been towing boats since 1979 and never had a car without the loops for the safety chains. They are suppose to criss cross and catch the boat trailer tongue in the cradle of the criss cross chains. I don't see any receivers with the loops nor does the LR3 have... -

I got the official Land rover Quick release hitch but no reciever/ball. I measured and its about 1.5 inches lower than my Explorers hitch. So I need some kind of receiver to raise it at least 1 inch. Most of the ones at auto zone are rated for 3500-5000 lbs. The LR3 is rated 8000lbs... -

Thanks again Dave, Trans connector sleeve hmm. Is that just a part that breaks or do i do something before it does. Picking it up on Friday. I took one more look at some mountainers, explorers and well they seemed cheaply made all away round. Like home depot mower vs a Kabota. -

Thanks Dave! Does injector cleaning usually improve power and gas mileage? I don't know much about Land Rovers but started reading up on them recently. One guy said the fuel injectors clog up easily. Not sure how ofter this needs to be done, or is it only done if its running poorly? -
