i find that with the greenspace in this car that a back up just isn't necessary.
could be that i am coming from a Pacifica where backing up is pretty much just guess work!!!
i haven't found any diostinction between night and morning auto lights. i suspect it is just differnet levels of light.
try a light meter from an old camera if you want to experiment more formally?
the headlights are best described as daylights in my opnion. i have never seen anything like these things. they are better than the bi xenon's on my 911.
mine is a june 2006 build date - we have been living in Vancouver like weather for the last 40 days. i have driven through rain that reduced visibility to nothing. the car has been sitting in parking lots in down pours and no water penetration anywhere.
hopefully this signals no leaks in at...
i have had a little bit of it a few times, but i find if i take a smooth initial take up on the throttle it is fine.
i suspect my spouse, who seems to have a non-smooth foot gets it more often. i also doubt she notices it if it does occur!
good link. i like some of the small stuff:
the smoked upper side marker lights;
the air intake slats;
the chrome fog light surrounds.
the blacked out windows.
we are out of a loaded Pacifica for this - the LR3 seems like a rocket ship. spouse already got 1 ticket in the 1st week.
great tale on the off road, thanks
the digital imaging that is effected through the analysis of the internal space. Try the stereo without the Logic 7 on and compare. the spatial effect is quite stunning imo.
it amazed me that i had to go to the HSE just to get memory functions. at the end of the day, i would have taken all these options, just seemed a little rigid imo.
they should do what Porsche does and allow anything, just put a $ after the option!
we have ours for a week now - can identify with your excitement - it is probably the next best machine to the 996. the "command" postion and the seats are surperb.
had an M3 coupe - if i were to get another it would also be the cab; practicle seating and with SMG is wild.
i noticed those powdered black wheels!
so do you know if all the software is there and just disengaged or is this really a tech stripped version? i wonder if they were trying to get to the basic mechanical off road limits or if perhaps they were produced before the software techies finished?
the latest Mercedes internal mag has a great article on the people behind the Harmon Loic 7 systems. it is limited in technicals but still interesting. the integration of the system and automobile starts right @ the design stage of the vehicle once it has been determined it will be an option on...
it is added on by the stealer; it just replaces the 2 outside vent housings and the surround around the centre stack. when we were looking a client of the same dealership was in and i got to see it already installed. it really adds a nice overall to the interior.
i spent quite a bit of time reading pages on the machine here and @ Edmunds carspace. it was the make it or break it research for the machine.
it is an june 06 build date so should still need the software flashes for the tranny and suspension glitches. it also should need the re-calibration...
