Thanks-Appreciate the info. I have had these tires on my Defender and on a Ford Explorer. They are great for just about every driving situation and never seem to wear out. Looking forward to the change!
Been waiting for this moment. My OEM Goodyear's are finally wearing out-after 20K miles. Been eyeing the BFG AT's all the while-I will be getting them mounted next week at one of the more reputable tire places nearby. The sales guy was very helpful although he did bring up some ??'s regarding a...
Haha on the window line-I figured that was going to come up-I guess there is no simple vent control that simply lets fresh air into the cabin without involving some part of the climate control-
I poured over the manual-maybe I'm missing something-Is there a way to get plain old fresh outside air throught the interior vents or do I have to rely on the climate control 100%.
Tell you the truth-I don't have an answer-I looked at almost every other SUV/Truck out there and could not find something comparable. I am more of a truck person so styling was a big factor, along with roominess. I do not like cross-over styling ala Cayenne, Toureg, X5 etc. I was actually...
Take out all the seats except for the driver's. Remove the heavy plastic interior door panels and sound insulation. Replace all windows except the windshield with Lexan. Go on a diet.
If you cannot find another dealer-Go to a pro audio installer-have them go through the door panels and tweak as ness. Sure, it won't be free but you have spent many many more $$$$ in your own personal time festering over this if this is the only thing wrong with your vehicle.
Please note-I am a fairly handy person....but...I tried to remove the old wipers today to replace them with Bosch Icons and for the life of me, I could not get one of them off. I depressed the tab on the underside of the wiper blade where it attaches to the arm and tried to pull it off-no...
I am in Rumford-opposite end of the state. The car is like one big plastic model kit-mine went back together without a problem. Each headlight assy slides out once unplugged. Good tip is to raise the suspension. What they do not explain in the directions are the screws inside the front wheel...

I have installed the A-frame protection bar. It really isn't that bad-you just have to be careful and slow pulling things apart. You will literally need to pull the entire bumper, grill and light assembly off as well as the two front wheel arches. There are existing holes in the...
Did you buy the car from a private owner or dealer? I believe the only way to get complimentary service is if your car was certified by a dealer. This certification qualifies you for continued coverage under warranty as well (others chime in if you know otherwise). Usually the dealer makes a...
I agree 100%. My opinion here: "Sport" Trucks with overkill horsepower are purely a marketing plan on wheels. To suggest that something so big and heavy is going to be as tossable as a "sports car" is crazy and very inefficient from an engineering standpoint. If someone enjoys the look and...
