Soft Brakes?
You really should have less breaking power if you were just on the accelerator. Because there is less engine vacuum when you are on the gas, the brake booster has less to work with. So you get less power assist. Probably just your imagination. As for used brake parts. I would advise... -

Highway Driving

The V-6 does ok on the interstate. I don't know about towing though. There is plenty of room for your dogs in the loadspace. -

Strange misfire problem?? HELP
Did you use a Land Rover rotor and cap? Always get those 2 things from the dealer for less headaches. And Joey is right about the plugs. Champion is the way to go. -

Disco 1 Tail lamp help needed
Pretty sure the top hole is the brake light, and it is a double element bulb. Make sure to examine the socket for signs of melting. It is pretty common to happen. -

Parking sensors delay
When does your Nav screen flicker? Is it at certain times or always? -

Transmission/Metal on Metal noises.
I'd change out the transmisson output seal while you have the t-box out. It is cheap insurance to do so. Joey is on the right track with the brake pads. Different brands use different types of material. Figuring out what works best just takes some time. -

Error Codes
The system adds canister purge and then looks at the O2 sensors to see if they change a certian amount. I would put in a new O2 and then see if the P0441 comes back. If not then you are good to go. If it does come back then you probably just have a bad canister purge solenoid. Definatly do... -

What kind of cap and rotor button did you get. I have found on most makes of car that if you don't stick with the factory part, it tends to fail alot sooner. If you don't have the LR button, go get one from the dealer. It is worth the x-tra moneys. :) Like someone else said earlier. Stick... -

Oil Change Experience
The Blizzacks I have on the Nissan did ok last winter. I don't think I would have made it home on Chrismas Eve Eve with out them. Open diff and light RWD car = not so good in the snow. :) I don't think the LR3 has any grease points. I would suggest lubing the turn stops on the lower... -

Freelander has a plate to take loose too. And the Range Rover Sport is just about the same as an LR3 altogether. I don't think any tire is going to do well on ice without studs or chains. -

Code P0420
Well it could be a bad converter or a rear O2 sensor. You would need to look at what the O2 is reading to see if it has a wierd signal. They are usually around 430mV. A data display on a scan tool would be great if you have access to one. -
