    Lazy Entry Mode Confusion

I'm only using one fob. The other one is put away in a drawer somewhere. I plan to swap fobs every month just so that I can charge the battery in it. Maybe I'll just turn the lazy entry mode off. That'll solve this mystery. Vince.

    Daytime Running Lights

I wish it were the fog lights or another small halogen that were the DRLs. I had to do this for my Prius. Rewired it so that the fog lights were DRLs. They were pretty useless as a fog light anyway. But, the LR3's foglights are the BOMB! They really enhance the road. Vince.

    Lazy Entry Mode Confusion

Ok, I turned on the Lazy Entry mode through the info menu. At first, I didn't really know what it did, but I turned it on anyway. Now, I don't quite know what activates it. I have the steering wheel control to AUTO. The seat and steering wheel would move after I pull the key out of the...

    Daytime Running Lights

Thanks. Good to know. I'll probably pass on having the DRLs activated, since I don't want to wear the xenon lights out. Vince.

    Daytime Running Lights

A quick question: What part of the lighting system lights up for DRLs? Is it the xenon lights? Thanks. Vince.

    My first 500 miles REVIEW

This is my first review of the 2008 LR3 HSE. It's been 500 miles (I got the truck on the 8th) and I truly love the LR3! It's heavy and thus feels very sure footed on slippery roads. I took it with my friend through the White Mountain National Forrest after a heavy snow storm and I didn't...

    Side assist steps

After much debate, I decided to have my dealer install the sidesteps for me. I'll hopefully have it done this week since I'm off for the week. I'll post pics after. Also, it was reassuring (for me anyway) to hear that it'll be covered under the warranty that comes with the car er, truck...

Looking for Ideas on Personalized Plates.

I love my new 2008 LR3 HSE despite it's thirst for gas. Here's mine: GASPAIN

    Side assist steps

Thanks for the great info! I'm concerned about having to drill into the frame or part of the car. I would hate to have salt from daily winter driving get into the exposed steel. Vince

    Side assist steps

Hello everyone, Anyone personally added side steps to your LR3? If so, is it fairly simple (ie, no welding needed)? No drilling? Just nuts and bolts into pre-existing holes on the frame of the car? Thank you. Vince.

    Body side moulding

Thank you for the suggestions! I just made an order. Looking forward to installing it. Vince.

    Body side moulding

Is there a way to order an LR3 body side moulding, similar (if not the same) to the one in a Land Rover catalogue online? My dealer is 2 hours away and I wanted to save some time driving just to put one on my 2008 LR3. Thanks. Vince.

    New to RWO

I was trying to decide between and LR3 and RRS. After much research, the LR3 was the clear winner. The RRS was basically a clone of the LR3 but is shorter, wider, a 5 seater and more expensive. I also got a great deal on mine. By chance, I stumbled upon a 6K discount from Bedford NH LR...

    New to RWO

Hello everyone, I just got my very FIRST Land Rover yesterday. It's a 2008 LR3 HSE. What a machine! Looking forward to using it (but not abusing) off-road sometime in the Summer. Vince.
