Leaking coolant

Just got my new shocks today
Rear shocks are a cinch. Just 1 nut per end. Easy install. Haven't had to do any work on the front yet so I don't know for sure what is involved for that. -

Driving Disco on snowy/icy roads? Help?
I also highly recommend sipping (rymes with typing) your tires. If you have never heard of this let me explain. Sipping, is cutting lots of tiny slits across and through the tread of the tire. This gives multiple biting edges that help to give grip on the ice. Ask your local tire shop if they... -

My Disco's is a bit of a sled when it comes to winter driving conditions. I do however have tires that are too wide and I'm not to fond of the tread pattern. Sounds like a thin metal vibrating.
Check to see how tight the wheel lug nuts are. I was getting a funny noise and found 4 nuts on the left rear had backed off a number of turns. Dang aluminum rims! -

ARB Locker question

ARB Locker question
Are you saying that the compressor is running all the time? If so, I would wire in a toggle switch for the dash. Then, with a flip of the switch you can go locked or unlocked. I'm surprised you don't already have a switch on the dash, unless I am misunderstanding your question. -

Driveshaft seal?
I got a new rotoflex from discountbritish. It came with some sort of a seal that goes inside of the rear of the rear driveshaft. The problem is that I can't figure how to get the old one out. -

ARB Locker question
I say it's a matter of the type of wheelin and terrain you want to cross. Even if you only go once a year, if your in nasty terrain, the locker will help. I have a locker in my Land Cruiser and I wouldn't do without it. I only went wheeling 3 times this year and I'm glad I had it every time... -

Clunk, Thump, Bang
Well my parts finally arrived and I installed new pan hard bushings and replaced the shock bushings on the rear shocks. The old pan hard bushings didn't look to bad at all but I replaced them anyways. The verdict? She does ride nicer and quieter now, but......I still get the dull thunk noise... -

96 Disco cup holder HELP!!!
when i bought my disco, i pulled on the cupholder and the whole thing came right out of the dash. It turns out that the gear mechanism is broken and/or stripped on one side. drat, I finally get a vehicle with cupholders and I can't use them!
