Squeeking noise
I asked the dealer if there was a problem with mine due to the sound. After taking it apart, inspection, and putting it back they said it looked normal and the sound went away permanently. My parking brake seems to function exactly as it did previously. -

License plate bracket

Looking good Lrover12! For you folks driving in the snow, do you ever use chains? When I bought, I had to sign an agreement that I wouldn't put chains on the vehicle. I don't plan to abide by that, but I'm curious if folks think they're useful or needed. -

Real world MPG on the LR4
Those numbers are high. Do you all drive like senior citizens? :biggrin: My 2014 is getting 13mpg. That's after 12k miles of mostly bay area city driving. -

Yep, what the GnR frontman said. I got this set; http://www.ebay.com/itm/161201586018 1/4 the price of the OEMs, I like them and the overall look with the black rims. They don't come with locking lugs though, so I'll be on the lookout for 4 locking black lug nuts. -

Thanks swoverland. I'm in the south bay area, but I purchased my LR4 from Niello in Sacramento. I bought the VTD500010 black side tubes from the Niello Rocklin site which has really good deals on LR OEM items. I installed them myself, the process is not difficult and did it solo in 3-4 hours... -

Well I got it done, I had 15% done on the front passenger windows and 32% added to the rear in effort to have the window tint levels match front and back. I may have gotten snowed as I don't know if the rears needed additional tint to match the new fronts. Either way I like the result, it's... -

Ahh, thanks for the tint % clarification andy (wasn't just a little confused, I was bassackwards). Are you saying increasing the tint level of the rears puts me past the state legal limit? From what I can tell there is no legal limit for rear windows in Ca, only front passenger and windshield... -
