Thanks for the advice. I have run boats (in the ocean, off the northern coast of Venezuela) but never owned one. I do need a license and mandatory training in CT.
You had to ask...
Not in my driveway yet, but on the works: Yamaha AR-190
This will be my first boat and I figured a complete package (boat, engine & trailer) on a lake would be a good starting point. I still don't have my driver's license (or motorcycle endorsement) so I have to figure out...
Hey Horacio,
Thanks! I am really enjoying the Nara Bronze RRS. Love the color. Even got a HD (my first) to match:
Harley Davidson Sportster 1200 Custom 110th Anniversary Edition
I want to tint the two front windows to match the back windows. Has anybody done this? I got a quote for $100 to do the job on each vehicle. Doe sthis sound right? It seems like a lot, especially when all the windows are $200
I really oike the wheels too. More than the ones on our 2011 Discovery 4. The other detail that ended up looking great was the black lacquer trim. I'll post some pics.
Got our new 2013 LR4 yesterday:
Corris Gray with Almond/Arabica interior and Black Lacquer trim. The black trim looks incredible. I'll take some shots of the inside and share.
I loved my Orkney Gray but the Corris Gray is so much nicer it makes me jealous of my wife's LR4
We took the LR4 for a 100 mile drive up to Compounce Lake and I absolutely loved it. How does it compare to our Discovery 4 TDV6?
The most significant difference is on the engine: The...
Tomorrow's the big day  Driving our rental to return it in New Canaan and getting a ride from Enterprise to the dealer in Darien. I won't sleep much tonite :argh:
We've been here almost a week and are absolutely loving it. I talked to Land Rover Darien yesterday and we will pick up the RRS & LR4 on Saturday, now that I got my CT Adult Learner's Permit and can register the vehicles.
The only option I found to insure the vehicles with our Panamanian...
I got an email from the dealer today: Our LR4 arrived at the dealership this morning! I asked him to send some pictures.
We are in the middle of packing & loading our home this week and will be on a flight to JFK next Wednesday. Now both the LR4 and RRS are waiting for us in CT
I would not trade in an LR4 you bought brand new for a 2010 RRSC with 41K miles on it. If you really want the trade up to a RR and can't afford a new one (or don't like the new "evoqued" RR) find a CPO from Land Rover and save yourself the potential problems/headaches.
