Going in for pssible final service
I service at LR West Chester and would recommend them. Some of the issues on your list are known issues and have a fix. Not sure about the exhaust, that could be normal, but can't really say without hearing it. -

cbboard, your LR3 looks great! I've recently purchased and applied Poorboy's Trim Restorer. It went on very easy and evenly, looks great, highly recommend. -

Sorry you have experienced these two issues so soon. LR did replace the compressors in the MY05's under a service campaign. Unfortunately new ones aren't very much better. And they also had proactive service action for the tailgate strut, but not for the hatch release. Details HERE... -

ANOTHER Suspension Fault Question
I had the exact same symptoms recently in our 2005. Your dealer will need to read the fault codes. In my case, it was the compressor. Had it replaced and problem solved. I also initially suspected it was a ride height sensor, which would have been a much less expensive fix. -

For the paint, I use Griots Paint Sealant. For the black plastic trim, I use Poor Boys Trim Restorer In general, you want to avoid getting any wax or sealant on the black trim, for the exact reason you discovered. -

I grew up in South Jersey - went offroading along the Delaware River many years ago. Are there any places to ride in the Pine Barrens? State parks / camp grounds? Regarding Rousch Creek, I'm in if we can work out a date. Need to check their calendar, I'd definately be with the green group ;)- JackMac
