I did nothing with the LR3 today. Let my wife take it out for a day of shopping, while I spend time with our 8-year-old and enjoyed Fathers Day by the pool. -

Out of curiosity, why would you be wheeling and pulling something on the hitch at the same time? This is the scenario you are describing, correct? -

You may want to check on a car detailing forum for additional suggestions. If it is road paint, it's not coming off easily - consider how well it sticks to the road in all conditions. Have you called your insurance company? They may cover this. -

Diffs - I am changing the diif oil earlier than the recommended interval to help prevent premature wear/failure. Also, ride height sensors have been reported. Air compressor and bushings appear to be the most common, as listed above. -
