Damn, good catch. Didn't even think of that. And, it makes sense.
The sticking caliper (most likely front right in this case) would bind after coming to a stop.
Applying the brakes would push the pistons into the back of the pad and force the caliper to slide on the carrier pins. If the...
Voyager makes a skid plate that integrates with their hidden winch mount. Its looks pretty solid. I'm on the fence between the voyages set up and an ARB bumper.
I use firestone's lifetime alignment and have had to make them redo it a couple of times. Can you post a picture of the printout?
If the alignment is indeed correct, I'm not 100% sure. It could be clutches in the front diff are worn causing torque vectoring to one side. I would think, if that...
That is a power steering hose.
If you feel comfortable, and have the tools, anything can be DIY.
If you want a shop to do it, it may be a good idea to get it towed. Personally, I wouldn't drive it.
You're not crazy. It's the power supply distribution box (PSDB).
I cover this same issue in my traxide install thread:
https://www.landroverworld.org/threads/2014-2016-traxide-dual-battery-kit-lessons-learned.42404/
In your case, check for any codes (AutoZone or your own code reader) and also...
Evening land rover support group. I posted this question in the "what I did today" thread, but I'm sure it got buried.
Any concern with the amount of transmission gunk found on my pan magnets? ~70k
Thanks, everyone
I would say it depends on mileage and what pipes you have.
Like I posted earlier. If your upper crossover pipe looks like the left picture, you should probably upgrade to the right picture before it splits along the seam:
Great list! Consider the bridge seals as well:

I did a transmission drain and refill at 65K, but I'm one commute short of 70K. So, today was transmission pan swap day.
All in all, it wasn't bad. I used this little guy to get the 7ish bolts above the two cross members:
Maybe it is common knowledge, or I didn't read enough going into...
Check the seal along the top of the windshield. Mine actually came loose on the drive home from purchasing it :D
Not sure if it would cause a high pitched noise or not; but another thing to check I guess.
Jayson,
I am pretty sure lucky8 is the only us-based supplier. They currently have 18 racks on their waiting list with an average wait of 2-3 months.
You can most certainly order directly from prospeed, but I am not sure what their current production and shipping tines are.
Good things come...
Much better truck than the last one. Like @cperez said, I would still get an inspection. I would most certainly jump on this one though if the inspection checks out
Definitely a different part. The early pipes looked like the 5.0 (two halves plastiwelded together). The newer rendition (shared with the newer discovery) looks like an evenly formed pipe--no seams.
Old, 5.0 one piece pipe:
Side-by-side old and new two-piece pipes (top two pictures):
Ok, I'll be the Jwest in this situation.
I stand by what I said. You do not want this LR4.
Like @cperez said... and I'll embellish...don't fall in love with this thing. You have no idea what is causing the codes, and neither does the "reputable" shop.
The LR4 does a self check at start up...
Dude... that is a lot of codes. Looks like a cascading LIN or canbus issue causing the majority of the codes. The P0018 could be bad sensors... Or, it could be skipped timing.
Unless you want a project vehicle, I would decline..
I think that would be the simplest solution. Adding a fuse tap would alleviate looking for the wire, tapping it, etc.
It's a 12v system. The electrons only travel so fast... Or something like that.
Alternator voltage would be the max voltage and that is metered by the regulator.
