    The oil leak could be from the brake vacuum pump. Mine was leaking there before I had it replaced. Its used to pre-pressurize the hydraulic braking system. Its a DIY job.

    With it running fine it will be hard to determine if the new sensor fixes it. My service history (same year as yours) shows the fuel pump was replaced at 91k mi. How many miles does yours have on it? I'd be replacing it regardless of the sensor results.

    I haven't worked on that shudder problem before on an LR4, but if I found low fuel pressure that would be my top priority to fix. Look at the fuel filter and fuel pump.

    Sounds pretty involved but probably a lot better than paying a mechanic. A diesel heater would go a long ways to warm everything up. I bought a Chinese version with automatic elevation adjustments for $110 and its pretty amazing what it can do for the cost.
