at idle the meter read right around 13.6. we didn't check at 2000 rpms. i haven't had any other electrical issues. i'll try to take a look at the connections at the starter this weekend. -

i run 93 octane 90% of time and occasionally 91 octane. did a tune up several months ago. seafoamed her in the tank, intake, and oil. new magnacore 8mm wires which helped mpg by 2. no check engine light. she runs great. rpms move a little at idle, like up and down, maybe, 25 or 50. also... -
Ticking Noise Continued
i had a ticking sound when i first bought my discovery and it turned out to be a small exhaust leak. one of the bolts had stripped and wasn't holding the tightly enough. replaced the bolt and nut and the tick went away. -

hey all, just figured the mpg on my stock 1996 discovery and having only changed the plug wires from stock to the 8mm magnecore wires my around town fuel mileage went from 11mpg to 13 mpg. still running the champion oe plugs and oe air filter. not great mileage but any improvement is nice... -
