Like BP said, the one he's using or the BFG ko2 make more sense than a MT type for what you described as most uses, especially the towing, sound, and highway handling. They will wear better too. I've gotten 75,000 miles out of a set of ko1 before using 5 tire rotation and a mid-life flip. -

19 " wheels
However, the 275 section is not meant to be on the factory 8" wide wheels. At least 19's are a super easy tire choice, because there are basically only 2 sizes and they both fit LOL. Only good use for 19's is highway travel and basic forest roads or winter, but for those uses, they sure do let... -

Where did it spend the time with that owner? How's the under side look? You get salts on that side I'm pretty sure but the region does in winter so you ought to consider an undercoating specifically either Waxoyl or Beoshield. It is much more accurate to mark a line across the washer to the frame using a grease pencil/china marker or fat sharpie. If they are tight but will move, a high power impact wrench can make the difference as will soaking overnight with PBblaster or the old Kroil oil version -
