Try wiping the road grime off the blades using a paper towel and rubbing alcohol or an alcohol wipe. That usually works for me. -

^This. They will remove and replace everything including toll transponders and stickers. Not your job to take apart anything. If your windshield is heated, go with the Pilkington. The Chinese version (Fuyao?) has thicker heater element wires that are more noticeable. -

The one time they replaced the windshield and reused the trim clips, mine was howling once I hit 60 mph. Clips were on backorder and the old clips did not hold the trim tight so the trim could wobble. As speed increased, a gap would open up between the glass and pillar trim. The wind rushing... -

Yes, better ride quality, better traction than the cheap OE Contis and I see a couple curb scuff marks on the tires that would have trashed the OE wheels that stuck out farther than the sidewalls. -

Good point - the transverse engine and short hood do allow for more passenger space. It's also tall, maybe only an inch or two shorter than an LR4. Ours is AWD and the system is amazing in snow and sand so far. Plus you can call up a screen that shows torque distribution levels at each wheel... -

It is annoying that the D5 and D110 are overall longer than an LR4 yet feel smaller inside. The D5 vehicle height is also too low...no stadium seating view for the rear passengers and even the driver is partially looking under the hood rather than looking over the hood. Guess we have to wait... -

Humming sound after vehicle is turned off
Do you have the heavy duty pack with the rear locking differential? If so, it could be the solenoid that activates the locker. We had a similar humming noise on our old LR3 at shut off that lasted about a minute. Turns out we were able to replace just the solenoid since we caught it early... -

Extended Warranty Debate
If you are only adding 1000 miles per year to this LR4 then no need to extend the warranty. From my experience, the expensive repairs and maintenance start at about 75,000 miles. Very unlikely you will spend $5114 in repairs in the next 2 years. However, if you now have 5K miles on it... -

My neighbor has gone through 3 fuel pumps on her 2016 LR4 and I'm still on the original. I wonder if she runs hers down to empty on a regular basis. I know she puts in cheap gas, maybe that's why she needed all new injectors too. I try to use a top tier fuel like Mobil or Shell all the time. -

Went to use hitch...surprise!
No, my AB wiring harness worked fine without any reprogramming. The AB installation video was very helpful. Only hard part was getting the wiring through the hole in the bumper. After rotating it a few times you figure it out. -

Disco 4 steering issues - this one is strange
Are you low on power steering fluid? Could be a leak somewhere. Mine was the opposite, my steering felt sloppy and it turned out the steering rack was leaking fluid. With a new steering rack it now feels like it corners on rails. (Compared to how it felt before the repair) -
