I don’t know enough about electrical systems to give an educated answer. But given the fact that my entire boat is energized by 30 amp shore power, it does warrant some caution IMO. Probably apples and oranges but intuitively it seems like overfusing a circuit carries at least theoretical risks... -

Correct, Atlantic British wiring harness is aftermarket but high quality and solid fit. I’m a fan of stock OEM for a lot of stuff but this item is easy to recommend. -

Even the uniform (very slight) drainage grade on my garage floor causes my LR4 to burp a bit almost every time I get home and park. I took it to mean that he opens the top half of the lift gate before the Rover settles and rebalances. This leaves him less headroom than he had prior to rebalancing, so he bumps his head. Hence his question can you override the rebalancing process. But maybe we’re both confused, Troy! -

This hitch has a rather small but loyal following. I have never seen one offered on the used market. If you do find one, be aware that some of the oval washers that come with it are designed to deform as you torque them down around the cast metal portions of your Rover’s underside. I don’t know... -

Sounds like it was a series of unfortunate events. Transmission fluid change, incorrect fluid used, most of the fluid had leaked out by the time problems were detected and they got stranded a few hundred miles from home. This is how he described it to me. He's currently getting a 68K-mile used...
