2020 defender off road pack - rear locker
It might be difficult initially. if it's cost prohibitive from the factory ARB may come out with an aftermarket rear locker. I don't know the answer, that's why I am still waiting on a vehicle lol- DonMitsu

Johnson Rods vs Proud Rhino
I've decided on the Johnson Rods. The lower lift should have less impact to on road driving dynamics and the Johnson Rods I had on my LR4 for a decade were great quality. I do hope Gap Diagnostics releases the IID tool soon though -
2020 defender off road pack - rear locker
I ordered mine with the rear locker back in July and it's currently scheduled to come in late October. When we purchased the LR4 the HD package was rare, but with the inventory crunch from the factories being shut down from COVID, it's impossible to find a rear locker on an in stock Defender.- DonMitsu

2020 Defender Drive Impressions.
I have to disagree. I love the appearance, but even more I love the technology. Not only can this car do a better job off road than the Bronco and 4Runner in certain situations, not just the geometry of it (approach, break over and departure angles), but it has a synchronizer in the transfer...- DonMitsu

I'm not sure if enough lifted Defenders exist in the wild for an informed opinion, but I'll ask anyway. I'm trying to decide which lift rods to get. The Johnson Rods only lift 1.5" and when I inquired I was told this was done to preserve suspension travel off road and handling characteristics... -
Another Defender hint?
I have yet to see a good off road test with a Defender that has the rear locker. This guy does a great job driving this rig with just the center locker. I would love to see a head to head in a trail like this with 2 defenders. One with and one without the rear locker. -

Another Defender hint?
I'm curious if the cameras will be standard on SE and HSE and options on Defender and S or it will be optional on all? There wasn't a lot of detail about it becoming a stand alone option. I can understand on a base Defender that has manual cloth seats and analog gauges that maybe the 360... -

Mine is scheduled to be manufactured September 4th. I was originally curious as to if it would be a 20 or 21 year model as most manufacturers label any vehicle built after August as the upcoming year model. ??? It’s certainly not as comfortable as the LR4 but with the sliding second row is functional. The 8000+lb tow rating compared to the wrangler and Broncos 3500 is significant. was this an attempt to insult me? I don’t understand the purpose of your post. -

The Bronco is more of a Wrangler competitor. 3500 lb towing, no third row. It doesn't come close to meeting my needs -

For those of us looking for an LR4 replacement, nothing is currently as affordable as the Defender. The Jeep can’t tow(and IMO is built much more cheaply). The G-wagon is much more expensive. I think LR has a winner. -

3K oil change intervals for our LR4s?
Maybe if you were to use a conventional oil. Using the recommended full synthetic 5k miles is awesome. I do agree that 1 year 15k mile interval is insufficient
