Good advice and yes it was well (15%) below MSRP. Still curious if anyone has wired fog / driving lights post purchase. It wasn’t an issue for the dealer to add the tow package for me.
Traded in my 2011 LR4 for a new 2019 Discovery yesterday. The new rig is an HSE but doesn’t have the factory fog lights. I asked about adding them but the dealers service department said it wasn’t possible and had to be done at the factory. Is this really true? Seems odd that they wouldn’t be...
I had the same thing happen. Dealer found a faulty accelerometer. They had to remove most of the dash to replace it but I have not had another occurrence since.
Was anyone able to find the cause of the rattle? It is really a shame that the experience of driving such a great vehicle is clouded by this annoying sound.
I have the exact same sound in the same place but I only hear it when the car is cold and I go over any size bump. It sounds to me like a shaking zipper.
Just wanted to let everyone know that my dealer is replacing the key under warranty. Fixing little issues like this really does increase my brand loyalty and enjoyment of the car.
Correct. The key became substantially smaller in 2012. I had to buy a replacement a few months ago and the dealer told me that unfortunately the smaller 2012 key is not compatible with 2011.
Is anyone else having issues with the rubber side cover detaching off their key? I am going to stop by the dealer and see if it would be covered under warrentee but figured I would check with the group and see if anyone else is having the same issue. I should probably also mention that this the...
They are not cheap. I have seen them on line for around $200 each. For mine all I did was cut some thin black plastic rectangular pieces and duct tape them to the inside of the molding. Unless you are looking for it you would never know that the moldings had been cut.
I have the LUX leather and the driver's seat is beginning to show some creases from entry / exit but no cracking. Car is almost a year old and the interior still looks new.
My 2011 HSE Lux came with the 20' ten spoke wheel option and I looked under last night and it only has the temp spare. I believe you have to get the HD package to get a full size spare.
***I tried to post this in the Sale section but it would not let me. Maybe a moderator can move this thread for me.***
I have a set of OEM side steps with all the hardware in very good condition for sale. I know they will fit the LR4 but I am also pretty sure they fit the LR3 from 2005 on. I...

Thanks for the quick response. That does help a lot. Finding a set of used 19in wheels is a lot cheaper than getting 18’s shipped from across the pond.
I have been going through the same 18in vs 19in wheel dilemma. I only off-road a few times a year but I do drive in a lot of snow at Lake Tahoe and prefer to have a little more sidewall and aggressive tread. Did you notice any decrease in gas mileage when you went to the LTZ’s?
