Looks fantastic! One bonus of the running boards is they more or less prevent door dings. Had them my MY2010 and they got dented instead of the doors.- Lone Star landy

Exactly. I have no experience with the JLR diesel, but our diesel GL gets over 600 miles of range on the highway: 26 mpg doing 75-80 mph and 20 mpg in the city. Those are the same SCV6 specs, the diesel should have 254 hp and 443 lb ft. The old 5L V8 was 375 hp & 375 lb ft. I am disappointed in the exterior design, but I knew it was coming. I think you are on to something! My factory battery died at just over 50k miles as well. Uncanny. Dan, they told me the same thing. front bearing replacement
Both front bearings went out on my LR4, one side around 50k miles and then they found the other side wheel bearings were bad when they replaced my ruined transfer case(due to its bad bearings) at 65k miles or so. I had bad luck regarding bearings on that vehicle.- Lone Star landy

side step/protection beam
The dealer added them to our LR4 at its arrival. I was going to take them off but ended up leaving them, they definitely came in handy for small kids and elderly people getting in/out of the truck. Stateside Disco 4 diesels?
I don't think Land Rover has ever brought a diesel Discovery to the US. Definitely, not an LR3 or LR4. I believe the first Land Rover diesel offering in the US was this year in the FFRR and the RRS.- Lone Star landy
