    can anyone verify eco mode disabled when towing, and if so, is it when you hook up the trailer harness?

    Spoke with my mechanic today and he said that when towing, the ECO mode should be shut down... so maybe if we hook a "special" tow light harness in there it would bypass the ECO setting and turn the light off? any thoughts on this solution?

    I've read about a faulty power module fixing the problem... I wonder if there is a "fix" if you can find a faulty module, or cause yours to fail?

    so I took them off today- I was surprised to find that the black plastic trim has big cutaways exposing the white paint... anyone know where I can find replacements from non runningboard models? Also, what are the 3 aluminum blocks under there???
