Thanks for the info. We havent had any rain and i dont know how much water i would have to blast at the sunroof to actually test the functionality of the drains.
The sound very much resembles a door window that is loose and rattling around in the door when it isnt all the way up. My sunroof is tight so i dont know whatvit could be.
so my LR4 has developed a loud rattle up top. it sounds like something is going to come crashing down. its much worse with sunroof closed. sunroof seems to function ok with no weird noises. it rattles when the truck is jarred over potholes or other fairly rigid bumps. does anyone have an...
Do you know if it's possible to test the drains individually with the sunroof open? I'm wondering if I can squirt a small amount of water at each one and see it come out under the vehicle somewhere? Pulling the headliner does not sound like fun.
Where do the sunroof drains exit the vehicle? Our 2010 had went carpet behind the drivers seat once but no sign of how it got there. Id like to test my drains to see if they flow.
ok that worked. just clipped in. i didn't realize it as i've never pulled it before- but the sockets are removable like taillights on a bmw.
thanks for the tip!
so there aren't any screws? i know the lens itself snaps in place but i figured the whole assembly (and yes i have 7 seater) would be be attached via a screw, etc?
Does anyone have a manual in pdf format? I'm trying to figure out how to remove the middle row dome/map light assembly and hope it's in the manual.
Thanks
How does the assembly come off? I know how the lens comes off but my socket appears to have broken and i need to remove the whole module. Cant find a screw? And dont want to break it.
so i thought it was me bumping the remote but it isn't. sitting still parked in the driveway it will sometimes randomly go off. i have cameras so i know nothing it hitting it. is there a way to determine with IIDtool what is faulting making the alarm sound?
Mine is a 48" hi lift. Yeah it doesn't hit much I just expected it not to hit at all given the mount is specifically made for it. And no I don't have the jacking point but I have the wheel mount who h is what I would use if I needed it to get my tire up. Other jacking points will come in time...
So i bought the hi-lift mount from baja for their rack. however the base of the high-lift hits the rack. they seem clueless to this. the mount is angled the the high lift hits it at the top...
so this will be used sparingly and not perm mounted in the vehicle. i think the arb dual unit is overkill for my needs and would prefer something a little smaller. any suggestions? i have an arkpak i'll be running it from.
thanks
Will you get tire rub with 265/65r18 if you lower it for normal city driving? I dropped mine 20mms to test for better mpg on the highway. Is it me or does it ride worse lowered?
