2006 LR3 HSE: Replacing Front Lower Control Arms

I just did this as well, my bolts all came off since the truck was a TX truck and is now in GA. Not a task for the faint of heart, you will need pivot adaptors to get to a couple of bolts. I do almost all my own work on our cars, have all the tools, took me about 4 hours to do the from lower...

    Chasing an idle misfire

06 LR3 4.4 with 92k miles. Started getting a misfire noticeable at idle, but not in park or while driving. No check engine light, no codes on the GAP tool. Researched it and first tried the throttle body and MAF clean...throttle response was noticeably improved, but the misfire continued. Next...

BTW, no rubbing in access height except for just a little bit at full lock.

    265 65 R18 Firestone Destination AT

Gov na - I got them off Ebay, paid $500 for all 5. Bad Bonez - I love the Firestone AT's, run them on everything I own. I fit the spare in with no issues.

    265 65 R18 Firestone Destination AT

Yea, we don't need access height for anything. It goes in the garage no problem and the wife is used to crawling in and out of the jacked up Excursion, so the LR3 is a piece of cake! Was originally looking for the 265 60 R18, but the load rating on the Firestone AT's was only 109 in that size...

    Removing front carpet

I ended up not removing the center console...I just pulled the carpet up as far as possible, squeezed as much water out by hand as possible, then propped it up and had fans blowing on it for a couple of day...it worked.

New LR3 and first time Landrover owner

Just bought the misses a 2006 HSE with 78k miles to replace her 200 Ford Excursion V10 lifted and sitting on 35's. She wanted to be able to park in the garage so the Excursion had to go. She loved the Excursion so it was hard to go to something smaller. Tried lots of other SUV's, but she liked...

    265 65 R18 Firestone Destination AT

Just got some 18" rims to replace the 19" rims that came on my 06 HSE. I run the Firestone Destination AT on all my other vehicles...F150, Bronco, Excursion and even my daughters Honda Element...so the LR3 fgot a set of 265 65 R18. They are a quiet, long lasting tire that is awesome on-road and...

    Removing front carpet

Howdy folks. I just bought a 2006 LR3 HSE for the wife, 78k miles and in real good shape. It was car-hauled over to us in Georgia, from Texas, in the rain. Floor boards, both sides, are soaked from a buckled cowl and possibly A pillar leak. Dealer fixed the sunroof drains, I tested them. The...
