Driving light wiring
No, the backlights are just there more so for looks. They project very very little light... i just trigger them with the fogs which turn off when the high beams turn on. -

LR4 Rear Ladder Install Help
I had to do almost the exact same thing except I used needle nose pliers. It just took adding a tiny bit of resistance to get it loose. -

2012 LR4 Rear Ladder Rusting
It’s actually pretty easy to remove. You have to remove the inside tailgate panel and then you have immediate access to about 6 bolts (I forget what size) and then the outside tailgate panel with the license plate light comes off as does the ladder. Just reinstall the panel and your good. -

Helpful tips
One thing I found recently was that in the audio section of the menu there's a "CD Changer". That however is not the cool find... you can actually upload up to 10 cd's into it. There's actually no physical changer. -

I’m curious to what you mean by this? I do have sliders and a solid rear bumper so was thinking, in a pinch, I could use. But def will not be doing that if it’s going to “crease” the door. -

Yeah that's partly why I was asking because I already have a really great jack for our cars except its a low profile so i'm pretty sure it won't go as high as i need for the LR. I know its for offroad purposes but does anyone have experience with one of these? -

I'm having some trouble figuring this one out too. My manual says its a PY 24W for the front but any of the PY24w bulbs i've tried do not fit. The first image here is a PY24w The second is what my bulb actually looks like. You can see they're close but the actual bulb has a much longer stem.
