very sudden loud clicking and fan noise... is my rover near death?

Lower control arms need replaced ... damsel in distress
Hey all - you are my most trusted source of info and I would really appreciate any assistance with my first sizable repair. I have a 2014 lr4 hse lux w 62k on it. 4 new tires, probably 5K-7K miles on them - front wearing unevenly. Took in for alignment, nope, LCAs are moving about 2 inches...- RoverThinker

M @TheWidup my sister in law is from lake Forest & her dad has an LR4 w the wheels that look like the new Toyota 4Runner and GMC wheels ... I really like those a lot too. I was there in August and went to orange theory, it was basically a used LR4 lot.- RoverThinker

@wportervt - it has very minimal factory warranty left. the dealer isn't near me so i dont want to buy 3rd party from them. luckily in my town of 60K a friend of mine from hs owns a shop in town and only works on foreign cars. has a 13 lr4 himself - incredibly knowledgable - so i do trust him...- RoverThinker

@ryanjl no HD package in this one. but i dont offroad in the slightest. Impact on resale value makes sense - but with such low mileage, i'm hoping i own this thing for 10+ years!
