Upper ball joint hex broke- any advice getting this back together?
Upper ball joint is fine, I just had to remove it to replace CV axle. The nylon nut gets caught up too much to impact on. Are these meant to be a one time use ? Maybe I'll order a new nut. I torched the crap out of it today but no luck. I really banged up a T35 into stud to get it to hold, so... -

Yes, in that process is snapped off. I figure if I get a nut without nylon I won't get any movement on the bolt and I can torque it up. I'm going to try grinding it out today with the Dremel, fingers crossed I can punch a new hex head into it. -

Having a hard time with this UCA ball joint. Hex was rusted out and nylon bolt would not break away from the threads. Managed to bang a T35 up into the bolt to break the nut free- but in the process I snapped the T35 inside!!! Can't drill or knock it out now. Think I can buy an equivalent bolt... -

2016 LR4 Camera system not working at all!!
Each sensor appears to be functioning normally. Wife in the driver's seat and I cover each sensor and alarm goes off each time. Damn, I thought that could have been it!! -

Oh! So maybe it's been a failed sensor this whole time. How can I accomplish putting the car into drive/reverse without ignition on if my shifter won't come up? 2016- recessed shift knob. I think I will go around and clean all of them anyways. Thanks !!! -

It does not. Sensors seem to be functioning normally. I have a hitch bike rack and it beeps in reverse. Really missing the rear camera with the rack on in the summer! -

Great advice, thanks ! Unfortunately no matter what combination I do the camera module will not function. New/old or any combination of cameras connected, even zero cameras connected, nothing ! Hard to believe something in the vehicle is crapping out these modules. I've been thinking of... -

Update- I purchased a used camera module from eBay. Swapped it out and it immediately started working!! Couple days later, the thing dies again- same issue as before. Now, have I pooched 2 modules, or is there something else going on? Why did it work for a few days? Very frustrating for sure... -

Heated Steering Wheel Not Working
Has anyone resolved this issue? I noticed I have the same symptoms as OP, light comes on but no heat (2016 LR4). Would be nice to get some insight before blindly ripping apart the steering wheel. Thanks ! -

Even when I disconnected the grounds circled below I still have 4ohms of resistance on my black wire from the cam mod connector which leads me to believe this is not the right one ? When I measure for resistance on these grounds circled, one is open and one... -

Okay, so I have no voltage on the far left side of the connector (black wire). 11.6v on the purple wire. Both sides should have voltage? Any ideas ? -

Okay, I have 11.6 V on that pin. Next step try to source a replacement module ? Is this straight forward plug and play, or does it require programming to the car specifically? -

This was the first thing I did- figured I would try to reset the module. This did not help. My next step it to see if the camera module has power. Just would like confirmation the module is indeed under the passenger seat -
