    Yes 10 or 24 spline free wheel hubs will fit your series vehicle, depends which half shafts you have got which ones you go for though. Generally series II vehicles have the coarser 10 spline ends with series III's having 24 spline ends. However, the only real way to tell is to get the hub ends...

    Sounds like the springs have been put on the wrong side. Most springs are handed and the drivers side should when viewed from behind or the front sit higher than the passenger side.

    Speedo woes

    Check also at the gearbox end, there should be three screws holding the speedo cable in place, if one of these is missing it can give similar symptoms.

    Hi, and congratulations on your new puchase:). Unfortunately there's no real easy way to find out if your cylinder head is unleaded or not. If you have a receipt maybe you could contact the suppliers?, 1997 seems a bit early to have replaced it for unleaded to me though as over here in the UK...

    24volt systems can be converted to 12 volt, not sure of the cost or the hassle involved, but i will dig out some more info for you and pass it on.

    Just had an after though JC, 24volt spark plugs might be a little hard to come by but i don't really know how your fixed on the spares situation out there for these items. They are available over here but are getting a little scarce.
