New to LR...Is this a good deal?
I leased a service loaner. Don't think I would ever buy a LR3, new or used. I have had too many problems with mine. Don't get me wrong, I love my car, but the dealer is 30 miles away so it is a big issue every time I need service, which is very frequently. Good luck.:albertein -

There is no other car My lease is up 5/08 and right now there is no other car that can compare to the LR3. For the soccer mom maybe the Audi Q7. I hate the MDX, but it has everything I would want but is ugly. I really enjoyed being the only person in my neighborhood with a LR3 for about the... -

Fuel cap loose or missing?
The gas cap was the first thing they replaced on my first visit, wasn't fixed until the 4th. Good luck, hope yours was better than mine. I still love my truck and wouldn't turn it in for anything. -

Fuel cap loose or missing?
I had the same problem, after 4 trips to the dealer, it was fixed. They replaced the fuel filler assembly and that fixed the problem on the 4th try. The only saving grace to this is the dealership kept picking up my car and delivering me a loaner and then they returned my car to me each time. -

Adding bluetooth option to my LR3 2005
I just bought a portable navigation unit, magellan roadmate 6000t, and it has bluetooth and works great. Garmin also has some units that have bluetooth as well. That is another option. -

LR3 vs. Lexus GX
I am a "soccer mom" and would not trade my LR3, reliable or not, I know plenty of friends that have had problems with the GX, for any truck. This is the best unique car around. If you want to be a trend setter get the LR, if you are a follower get the GX..... -

Spoiled; Its the little things.
I love my truck and have only had minor, but annoying problems. It wouldn't be a problem if the LR Dealer was closer to my house. Just glad it is a lease, and can't wait to turn in my LR3 for a RRS in 2 years. -

The GX470 does not have a full third row. It is a Jump seat and they are always there like in the old Discovery. Not practical if you want a third row, that is why we got the LR3 -
