It happened pretty much whenever I pushed down on the accelerator and also a few times that I let up on it. Just yesterday I did find a tranny out of a 2002 with 64,000 miles for $700. I'm probably going to go ahead and purchase it but a little anxious as the warranty is only for 30 days.
damage was worse then originally suspected. had the vehicle towed to a reputable mechanic and he informed me i would need a new transmission from damage sustained by the swinging front driveshaft (at highway speed).
